Would you like to be? ​The Contracts for the Solar Industry course teaches students to mitigate the risks of solar installations for all parties, including ensuring that project details and variables are fully understood within the contract to help control construction costs and minimize scope of work issues. This course also provides guidance on how to comply with the Alberta Solar Business Code of Conduct and the basics of Canadian Contract Law. Do you want to learn about the current Canadian Electrical Code standards? Join this 3-night course to become familiar with the most crucial inspection points of common solar PV systems. This course is intended for electricians, technicians, engineers, solar installers, sales people, and those with a good understanding of electrical theory and electrical terminology who want to ensure that their solar installations meet the current Canadian Electrical Code standards. The focus is on grid-interactive residential and commercial-scale solar PV projects less than 1 MW. Solar PV Systems: Electrical Code runs 3 nights: Nov. 14, 19 & 21, from 7-9 p.m. MT.
