Roxanne Tate is Professional Engineer, Certified Passive House Designer, Certified Energy Manager and Founder of Tate Engineering Inc. Tate Engineering Inc. is an engineering and project/construction management consulting firm that defines and solves complex issues related to facility development and operations. From a young age Roxanne knew she wanted a career that would have a positive impact on the world. Her strength in math and science led her to Dalhousie university where she acquired a Bachelor in Engineering and followed by a Masters of Applied Science in Engineering. Her work with biodiesel fuels further fueled her passion for environmental stewardship. Several years later, while working in research and development in the window manufacturing field, Roxanne discovered how energy efficiency could help her fulfill her long-term career goals. She continued with her passion for energy efficiency with the creation of Tate Engineering. After almost ten years she took the company from one to fifteen diverse professionals focused on developing high performance buildings.
